State Fund Offers Extended Credit to Policyholders Affected by California Wildfires

(Sacramento, CA) - We're offering a 30-day credit extension to policyholders who are experiencing business disruptions in Plumas County due to the Gold Complex Fire, in Butte and Tehama counties due to the Park Fire, and in Kern County due to the Borel Fire. Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency as the fires in Northern California have burned nearly 400,000 acres, forcing the evacuation of thousands of residents, destroying homes, and threatening critical infrastructure. The Borel Fire is part of the SQF Lightning Complex, which has burned nearly 90,000 acres.

Policyholders can request the extension by calling customer support at (888) 782-8338 or through their insurance broker.
