Laura Retires: a fond farewell…

After 35 years of service to State Fund, Laura Dragovich, Vice President of Corporate Marketing, retired at the end of August.

Laura was well known in our broker community as she began her esteemed career in policy services in Stockton in 1989, where she provided policy support to the Underwriting team. After mastering underwriting, Laura’s focus turned to marketing, where she filled several roles including Broker Liaison and Marketing Representative. In her most recent role as Vice President, she oversaw the development of State Fund’s Broker distribution and compensation models, broker management, and Field Marketing support. Laura guided her team through a number of transformative initiatives and many successes.

Throughout her career, she built strong relationships with our broker network and has been a champion for our purpose and role in California’s workers’ compensation market. Laura always led by example: she followed our north star, believed in helping others, and was driven to do the right thing.

Laura was a respected leader, colleague, and friend to all who enjoyed working with her. In the many years Laura has been with State Fund, she made an undeniable difference. We congratulate Laura on her retirement – it won’t be the same here without her!
