Yes, you may call our State Fund Online Support line at (888) 782-8338 and provide us your payroll figures to submit an outstanding payroll report. You may also pay an outstanding bill with your Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit card, debit card, or electronic check. Note: the oldest outstanding payroll report or bill must be processed first.
May I make a payment online?
Yes. If you are a Self-Registered user (have access to your policy on the Internet), you may click on the “Pay Outstanding Payrolls & Bills” link on your State Fund Online “Welcome” screen to complete and submit your payroll report or bill. For more information on State Fund Online benefits or to register, visit Benefits of State Fund Online.

We only accept full payments on the entire amount of premium owed for bills.

No, only one card may be used to pay a bill.
May I pay for several bills at once with one credit/debit card?
Yes, you may pay all of your outstanding bills at once with either a credit/debit card.
May I use a credit or debit card to make a payment on my cancelled policy?
Yes, you may call our State Fund Online Support line at (888) 782-8338 to make a credit or debit card payment on your cancelled policy.
If my policy is about to be cancelled and I pay my bill by credit or debit card, how long does it take after I pay the bill for the cancellation to be withdrawn?
If you submit/pay all items required for withdrawal before the cancellation date, you will be able to verify the withdrawal of your cancellation in State Fund Online the next day, or by calling the Customer Contact Center at (888) 782-8338.
If my policy has been cancelled and I pay my bill by credit card, how long does it take after I pay the bill for the cancellation to be withdrawn?
If you submit all items required for withdrawal before the cancellation date, then the next day, the cancellation will be withdrawn, which you can verify on State Fund Online or by calling the Customer Contact Center at (888) 782-8338.
If I have $0 in payroll, may I call you or go online to take care of this?
Yes. If you are registered for State Fund Online, you can submit all your payroll reports online. For more information on State Fund Online benefits , visit State Fund Online. You can also submit your $0 payroll report through State Fund’s online payment portal, which you can access by clicking on the Make a Payment link on the home pageof this site. Lastly, you may call us at (888) 782-8338 and we’ll process your $0 payroll report over the phone.
Can my broker make a payment for me on my outstanding bill?
No, brokers cannot make a payment with their own credit or debit card on behalf of their policyholder but can make a payment for you using your credit card.
May I make a payment on my payment plan with a credit or debit card?
No. Because payment plans allow you take make partial payments on a single bill, we cannot accept credit or debit cards for these payments. Payment plan payments must be mailed in with their corresponding coupons.
May I make a credit/debit card payment on money that I owe that State Fund has charged-off?
No, you must mail a check to pay for previously charged-off premium.
May I make a credit/debit card or electronic check payment on money that I owe for a bounced check?
No, a money order or cashier’s check must be mailed in to replace a bounced check.
May I use my credit/debit card or an electronic check to make a deposit payment for my new policy or policy that was just re-written?
No, at this time we only accept a regular check or cashier’s check for an initial deposit.
Note: a cashier’s check will be required if a certificate of insurance is needed immediately.

Yes. State Fund accepts electronic checks sent directly from a policyholder’s bank; however, we advise against this because electronic checks are mailed without a bill. State Fund may not be able to post payments submitted directly by your bank to the correct bill. You can, however, submit a payment yourself by electronic check over the phone at (888) 782-8338, through our online payment portal, or, if you have registered, via your State Fund Online account.
Can I pay by electronic check over the phone?
Yes. Call us at (888) 782-8338 and we will be happy to accept your electronic check payment for your outstanding premium bill.
How long does it take for my payment to post?
Any payment made before 2:00 p.m. will be posted the same business day. Any payment made after 2:00 p.m. will be posted the next business day.
Are there any fees associated with making a credit card payment?
One Inc charges a 2.99% processing fee for credit and debit transactions. There is no charge for paying from a bank account.
Can you save my credit card information for next time?
No, for security reasons, we do not store your credit card information.

You will receive an immediate receipt confirming that your payment was accepted.
